Sylvain Matthey-Junod joins CIGP as Senior Advisor
CIGP are pleased to announce Sylvain Matthey-Junod joins CIGP both as the third board member of our Swiss entity, as well as a Senior Advisor to CIGP Group as a whole.
Given his long-standing experience in the financial markets, as head of the Legal and Compliance department at Pictet from 1994 to 2007, and at Lombard Odier from 2007 to 2013, and finally at Banque Syz from 2017 to 2020, where he also acted as board member. Sylvain spends his time advising both CIGP on legal, compliance, AML and regulatory matters.
In addition, in his role of Senior Advisor of the CIGP Group, Sylvain strategically advises the Group and contributes – thanks to his long-standing experience and network – to its growth and development globally.
In addition to his role at CIGP, Sylvain has various other senior functions and directorships with a.o. HBS SA Family Office, Banque Eric Sturdza SA, where he is also a member of its Audit Committee and BRP Bizzozero & Partners SA.
Sylvain attended the University of Neuchatel, where he graduated with a Master in Law (Summa cum laude) ; he was admitted to the Swiss bar in 1986.
He is fluent in French, German and English.
